PLYMOUTH POOL TO BE DOGGONE BUSY DURING DOG SWIM

 

August 23, 2013 Plymouth Pool is going to the dogs!

 

Midland Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce the annual Pooches @ Plymouth Dog Swim on Saturday, September 7. Owners will have the opportunity to fetch their Fido and take a swim before the pool closes for the season.

 

Plymouth Pool features a zero-depth entry and a deep well perfect for any pooch! Each dog will get 30 minutes in the pool (with their owner ages 18 and older), with swim times varying throughout the day.

 

Owners will be responsible for providing proof of vaccinations to volunteers from Northern Animal Clinic on the day of the event. In addition, local canine organizations will be on hand to showcase their services and provide volunteer assistance.

 

Cost is $6.00 per dog. Proceeds from this event will go toward improvements at the Midland Dog Park.

 

All dogs on deck! Pre-registration and pre-payment for this event is necessary. You can register for this event online at www.midland-mi.org/recreationspecialevents and in person at the Parks and Recreation Office, 4811 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland, MI 48640. Registrations will not be taken on the day of the event. Registration will end when all spots are full.
