FREE BROOMBALL AT MIDLAND CIVIC ARENA

January 11, 2013 – Stop by the Midland Civic Arena on Saturday, January 26 for a free chance to try broomball, an action-packed ice sport that’s sweeping the area.

From 9-10:15 p.m., adults may try the game of broomball at no cost.  The game is played like hockey, using a broom and a ball instead of a stick and puck.  Although the game is played on ice, tennis shoes are used instead of skates.

Broomball leagues are also currently forming, with play beginning Saturday, February 2.
